MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Development
- Develop new business opportunities through proactive sales activity, networking, and referrals.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct client meetings to understand workforce requirements and provide tailored staffing solutions.
- Negotiate terms of business, rates, and service agreements.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and increase temporary staffing volumes.
Recruitment & Candidate Management
- Source, attract, interview, and assess candidates for temporary assignments.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of available temporary workers.
- Match candidates to client requirements based on skills, experience, and availability.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy qualification through to placement.
- Ensure all candidate compliance, right-to-work documentation, references, and relevant checks are completed before placement.
Temporary Workforce Management
- Coordinate daily bookings and last-minute staffing requirements.
- Manage candidate availability, shift scheduling, and placement confirmations.
- Resolve issues relating to attendance, performance, and client feedback.
- Build strong relationships with temporary workers to maximise retention and availability.
- Ensure timesheets are submitted accurately and payroll queries are resolved promptly.
Client Relationship Management
- Deliver exceptional customer service and act as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
- Conduct regular service reviews and client visits.
- Respond quickly to urgent staffing requests while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor client satisfaction and implement improvements where required.
Performance & Compliance
- Achieve agreed sales, gross profit, margin, and placement targets.
- Maintain accurate records using the company's CRM and recruitment systems.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Produce activity reports and maintain accurate forecasting for the temporary desk.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant, preferably within temporary recruitment.
- Strong business development and account management skills.
- Demonstrable success in achieving sales and revenue targets.
- Excellent knowledge of temporary recruitment processes and workforce planning.
- Experience managing high-volume recruitment campaigns and urgent staffing requirements.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to prioritise multiple vacancies and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in recruitment software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Gross profit and revenue generation.
