Production Operative

COMPANY OVERVIEW:

This company is a world leader in the design and manufacture of screens and displays used in the medical, defense and auto motive industries

They have their UK manufacturing site in Thame. 

• MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Detailed hand working of parts including:
  • Trimming back mesh to customer specification
  • Applying specialist taping or gaskets to customer specification
  • Spray painting of parts
  • Foiling, cleaning, wrapping and packaging to customer specification
  • Final inspection of parts to customer specification
  • Ensure completed orders are sent to dispatch
  • Completing all required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner including work log, quality report and defect reporting
  • Controlling stock, including accurately debiting raw materials used and assisting with stock checks

• SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Good level of desterity and fien motor skills
  • Good eye for detail
  • Good eyesight (with or without glasses or contact lenses) to enable inspection of parts / identification of defects
  • Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
  • Positive Mental Attitude
  • Previous production experience advantageous, especially in a job shop environment

• BENEFITS:

  This is a permanent role with an immediate start available for the right candidate. Working regular days (37.5 hour week) with additional hours as required by the business. Normal working hours Mon-Fri 8am-4pm. Overtime at 1.5 x normal rate. We offer 25 days paid holiday plus statutory bank holidays.
