Production / Manufacturing Engineer (Salary £20 – 28k, plus benefits) Milton Keynes

Main Purpose of Job:

To support the manufacture of the companies existing and new product range through generating effective engineering information / systems / manufacturing processes and facilities in accordance with H&S legislation.

To implement a successful Lean Manufacturing culture, focusing on continual improvement and the elimination / reduction of all wastes by educating the business and removing non value added waste from the business processes

This role is primarily focused at supporting the manufacture of the company’s existing and new product range through generating effective engineering information / systems / manufacturing processes and facilities. Additionally, to implement a successful Lean Manufacturing culture, focusing on continual improvement and the elimination / reduction of all wastes by educating the business and removing non value added waste from the business processes.

Assembly / Production Technicians (£8.06 per hour basic, plus overtime potential at £12.09 per hour) Milton Keynes

Temp / Temp to Perm (12 weeks plus free transfer) Positions (incl. PAYE and Holiday pay):

Mechanical assembly, plus basic hydraulic and electrical installation. Requires dynamic team players with proven skills, knowledge and experience. The role requires operating to high quality / workmanship standards, within a demanding flow line production environment.

If the individual ends up being taken on full time there is potential in line with their product skills knowledge to progress along a pay scale stated below for permanent fully skilled Production / Assembly Technicians.

Production / Assembly Technicians - Permanent. Basic of £10.40 - £12.11 per hour (inclusive of potential bonuses), plus overtime potential and benefits. Milton Keynes

Benefits – Wage / Product knowledge appraisal scale of £8.30 - £10.03 per hour (Basic 40 hours week), plus weekly calculated (monthly paid) business performance bonus scheme of approx. £380 per month (potential based on average in 2011). Overtime paid at 1.5 and 2.0 rates. Profit related bonus paid annually at discretion of directors. Production stores person (possible temp to perm), require an experienced and flexible 'production stores' - Store Man (including loading / un loading, goods in, picking, parts processing and transactions, stocktaking and yard work). Must be conversant with stock control systems and procedures, Microsoft office, and have a current counterbalance forklift license (flexi truck would be an advantage also, but not a necessity).
